Doug Savage is the Vancouver-based creator of the popular online comic Savage Chickens. Doug always wanted to be a cartoonist but somehow found himself working in a giant corporation, starving for creativity and plagued by migraines. Luckily, this predicament drove him to pick up a pad of yellow sticky notes and start drawing chickens.

Doug has posted a new comic on his web site every weekday since January 2005. His work is also published online by GoComics.com and in print by Penguin USA. GoComics and Andrews McMeel recently published six eBook collections of his work, covering important themes such as fear, relationships, and zombies.
